Construction work begins on 450-km Haramain rail project

The construction work has begun on the 450-km long Haramain high-speed rail project, between Makkah and Madina through Jeddah, by Al-Rajhi Alliance, which has won the contract for executing the project.

Meanwhile the project that links Jeddah Islamic Seaport and King Abdul Aziz Seaport in Dammam which will transport transit containers is being studied and the second phase of the project will be transporting civilians between the same cities.

Also the railway starting from the non-Muslims road in Shemaisi to Jizan will be finished within a year. The project will link many cities like Ja'ezah, Mekhwah and Mahail Asir.
