A major
shipbuilding and ship repair company in Abu Dhabi, seeks the following
qualified personnel for its Shipyard in Mussafah. Candidates for these
positions must meet the following requirements.

ELECTRICAL ENGINEER
-
Bachelors
Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.

Basic
knowledge of the various trade operations in Shipbuilding and minimum of
5 years experience in Shipbuilding.

Experience
and knowledge in the use of MS Office and Excel. Ability to use AutoCAD
would be a plus.
-
Ability
to read and understand shipbuilding drawings and technical manuals.
-
Ability
to write technical specifications for shipboard electrical components,
including main switchboards, distribution boards, switch panels, cables,
diesel generators and bridge consoles.

Develop
a bill of materials for Procurement of shipboard electrical components.
Ability to assist test engineers and production electricians during the
commissioning and testing of shipboard electrical components.

NAVAL ARCHITECTURE
DRAFTSMAN / STEEL DETAILER

Minimum
5 years of experience in Naval Architecture Drafting for Shipbuilding
Design.

Experience
and knowledge of AutoCAD 14 or AutoCAD LT. Also experience in MS Office
and Excel.

Ability
to develop detailed drawings of steel piece parts based from design
drawings. Also develop hull drawings based on input from Naval
Architects and Production Supervisors.

Familiarity
with classification society regulations would be a plus.

be involved in the development of strategic / long range planning for the
company such as production plan, delivery schedules, key event
schedules, build strategy methods, and budget schedules for shipbuilding
and repair.

Knowledge
of detail planning and progress monitoring of various phases of
shipbuilding and repair.

Must
have experience and knowledge in use of Microsoft Office and knowledge
of Microsoft project is desired.
