Egypt and Qatar have signed a deal to promote trade and investment relations and the focus is said to be the provision of facilities to Qatari investments in the exclusive economic zone north of the Gulf of Suez. The plan includes training of technicians and skilled labourers necessary to carry out projects in Qatar.

Agencies race for DIFC account

One of the latest free zones in Dubai is the subject of a race for advertising agencies to win the marketing communications assignment. A number of agencies are competing for the Dubai International Financial Center (DIFC) account. By bringing together global investors and regional users, DIFC is planning to serve as a platform for accessing the trillion-dollar regional market.
