International air express giant DHL has witnessed a double digit growth in the Middle East during the first business quarter. At a regional country managers’ meeting held in Bahrain recently, David Wild country manager, DHL UAE said that the continuous growth witnessed in the region is a direct fallout of successfully connecting with clients. "The recent relaunch of the Time Definite Delivery option in the Middle East was only the beginning. Customers in the UAE will soon benefit from additional product launches that will be introduced", he said.

Emirates SkyCargo and Maersk Logistics have signed a global agreement under which both parties agreed to support each other’s organization and services.

With this agreement Emirates SkyCargo gains the global support of Maersk Logistics airfreight volumes while Maersk gains enhanced air freight capabilities with prime access to capacity and flexibility.
